Fujian Medical University is in Fuzhou, Fujian, and its story begins in 1937 with a provincial medical vocational school. It became a college in 1939 and gained its university name in 1969 after merging with other medical schools, briefly relocating to Quanzhou before returning to Fuzhou in 1978. A fine fit for future doctors.
